    Scope or Reflex sight?

I have a 3-9 power Bushnell rimfire scope on my Ruger10/22 that's been awesome. My 10/22 is a tack driver within 100yds and a lot of that credit goes to the scope. On my 15-22, I've gone from the factory iron to a Burris Fastfire 3 and now to a cheap-o reflex sight. I was actually surprised...

Here's a question for all you tactical accessory fans out there

Sightmark actually has tech support, and they responded - something I should've tried in the first place. Here's what they said: "Being that those units have the Red and Amber tinted glass you will lose the laser in some cases due to the color of the glass. You might want to look into getting...

Here's a question for all you tactical accessory fans out there

I can see the pipper in the viewfinder, but not the laser downrange. However, I'll take another look. The view looks the same, except for the missing laser dot. Maddmax, no offense taken - I'm 99.9% sure that it's installed properly. But, there's always that .1% hanging out there, and...

Here's a question for all you tactical accessory fans out there

It's a Sightmark Sure Shot. And, nope, it's not the laser bore sighter - it's plenty bright and I could see it just fine (from outside of the sight glass). I can use the suggestions that others have offered, and I appreciate the input.

Here's a question for all you tactical accessory fans out there

It's a Sightmark. I've had a Burris - which worked fine, by the way - and didn't have any trouble sighting it in the same way. I no longer have another set of sights on this rifle, and can't cowitness (perfect reason to put them back on, however). Ruger had a video on their web site (probably...

Here's a question for all you tactical accessory fans out there

I'm sure this is not shocking for some of you, but it surprised the heck out of me and now I don't know what to do about it. I've been saving ammunition by using a cool red laser bore sighter for quite a few years. Considering how inept I am at initially sighting in a new firearm, this has made...

Is the M&P 15-22 a good first gun?

Greyster, I think you made an excellent choice by buying a .22 rifle as your first gun. The 15-22 is a good choice, although I would've recommended the Ruger 10/22. Either way, I think it's absolutely critical that you learn good shooting habits first. A .22 is easy to shoot for longer...

Plinker Tactical Charging Handle (my opinion)

I have what most people would probably consider "junk", as far as a calipers goes, but was able to get approximately the same measurement you did. My analog calipers only measures to the millimeter, but here are what I found: Stock - (w) 12mm (h) 7.?mm (I'm guessing 7.2mm would be about...

Plinker Tactical Charging Handle (my opinion)

Got mine installed and I agree with the OP. I'm happy.

    Low velocity .22 exploding targets

I tried them out about a month ago and they work great. The only thing I didn't like was mixing an entire batch of 10 targets all at once. I didn't want to blow them all up in one session, but didn't have a choice after I mixed up the entire package of powder.

So Sightmark, NcStar, UTG, Bushnell, PA....which to get?

Reviews seem to be mixed, but that appears to be quality control-related. I went ahead and ordered one just to see if I get lucky and get one of the ones that passed QA. I don't really need one of these, but wanted to try one and didn't want to spend serious money to satisfy my curiosity.

    Gun Show- 15-22 stuff?

It's too bad you didn't get to go. I enjoy gun shows, because it's where you can actually see and touch things. Up here in Minne-snow-ta, gun shows tend to fall into three categories: 1 - Large promotors that have strict rules for vendors. These are clean and well attended by vendors and...

    Plinker Tactical Charging Handle Availability

Looks like I'm too late - I can't find it. Midway says "coming soon", too. Plinker Tactical told me that they'd make sure everyone had them in stock - they said no problems with supply at the moment.

    M&P 15-22 or Ruger 10/22?

On topic: I really, really like both. If I had to choose, I think of the 15-22 as a plinker and the 10-22 as a small game hunter. Not sure why, other than the traditional looks of the 10-22 versus 15-22. At the moment, I'm more interested in plinking, and have put more rounds through my...

    Plinker Tactical Charging Handle Availability

I sent Plinker Tactical an e-mail to find out what the scoop is. I'm sure supply has not been able to keep up with demand, but it's hard to say. Is this the only aluminum charging handle for the 15-22, or are there others?
