Ruger 10/22, 10 shots in neck and face. I saw the mess dead and crumpled up in the entrance way ruining nice tan carpet. Had a 38cal pistol laying next to him.....
The shooter was very upset and had to be sedated to get him to lay down and go to sleep.
To the OP. Toss the red dot as all they are good for is popping cans from zero to about 25 yards. Work at getting .5 to .75 at 25 yards. When you can hit .5 at 25 yards then start working out to 1 to 2 inches at 100 yards.
With a C/P 4-16X40AOIR scope, a NcStar bipod, and Winchester 36g HV HP; groups between 2 and 4 inches at 100 yards. I shake a lot.
S&W M&P 15 22 MOE with no mods. I am working on 1 inch or less groups consistently. Have gotten a few so far, but not consistently.
I agree with yogowego.....Get me a video of you actually shooing these quarter sized groups a 100 yards........I am good with several rifles, but not that good without using a bench vice on a lead sled.
Majorlk post #3. "Firing pin channels should be blown out with compressed air, preferably from a compressor, not a can."
Why not canned air? I use it all the time on many things. Works well on my firearms. Just curious.
