I spoke with a rep at S&W last week. Right now they are expecting a 4-5 month minimum wait.

Is this gun really worth waiting for? I have been on a list waiting for about 3 months. Starting to think about getting my deposit back and getting something else. What are your opinions on this gun and what would be a good replacement?

Please explain the whole concept behind a slide fire SSAR-15. I have seen videos but nothing that explains the benefits of it.

I spoke with a gunsmith about doing my wife's M&P 15-22. The problem she has is that the stock is too long. She needs to have it adjusted. He stated that due to our states law he was unable to touch the stock. He did state that we could simply remove the pin, adjust the stock and re-pin it. As...

Super easy! Use a drill bit that's smaller then the opening on the pin itself. Drill in about a quarter if the way. Wiggle slightly and start to pull up. Continue to wiggle the drill as you pull upwards. Them pop, the pin comes right out and you now have a 6 position adjustible stock!

What state do you live in? If you are somewhat close I will buy the 22 ammo.
