WTS: 12.5" Gov't Profile AR Upper Receiver

Guys, I have for sale a 12.5" upper receiver assembly. This upper is used, but in very good shape. It has approx. 600 to 700 rounds through it. It has some minor finish wear on high spots, and some finish wear to the rail system, but it runs like a top and has always been 100%. -Daniel Defense...

    K-Frame Bullseye Stocks?

Thanks guys. I was actually looking at Herrett's Target Revolver Stocks (these), and they look like winners. You send in a tracing of the outline of your hand and the grips are made to fit your hand, so you get a more personalized fit compared to off-the-shelf target stocks. I just wonder if...

    K-Frame Bullseye Stocks?

Guys, what types of stocks are/were used on K-frames, like my 14-2, when shooting bullseye competitions? I'd like to get a set that are very hand-fitting, compared to the standard target stocks that are on it now. The only catch is that I'm left-handed. I was looking at two different models...

    Lee Autodisc for Small Charges

Now, do you guys like a roll crimp or a taper crimp on 38 Spl?

    Lee Autodisc for Small Charges

Thanks, guys! I'll definitely give the Autodrum a shot. It doesn't sound like it would hurt anything to get one and get it set up, especially if it can run loads less than 2.7 gr. That would give more up and down adjustability if needed. -Phillip

    Lee Autodisc for Small Charges

Good evening, guys! I finally started reloading 38 Special not too long ago, after just buying it for years. Now I have a substantial supply of brass to use. I've been reloading it on a single stage press so far, my old RCBS Rock Chucker, but to speed things up I was thinking about setting up...

FOUND: No Recess Diamond Target Stocks

Guys, I'm looking for a really nice set of NON recessed diamond target stocks for my 1952 pre-14, K38 Target Masterpiece. These are the stocks that are mirror images of each other, with no speed loader relief cut on the LH stock panel. I believe that a set of these target stocks would be...

    Target Trigger Timeline

So from what everyone says, it looks like the target trigger made its appearance in about 1955, give or take a year in either direction. I already have a leftover trigger shoe for the 1952 pre-14 in question if I purchase it, which I probably will! The trigger shoe came off of a 15-2 that I...

    Target Trigger Timeline

It definitely has the standard grooved trigger, for sure. Just the vertical grooves in the face of the trigger. -Phillip

    Target Trigger Timeline

Good evening, guys. Approximately what year did Smith & Wesson start offering the 1/2" wide target trigger on the K-frame models, like the 14 and 15 (or Pre-14 and Pre-15, whichever the case may be)? I have the chance to buy a 1952 Pre model 14, which has a target hammer, but no target...

SOLD: Nill Sq. Butt K-Frame Stocks

Gentlemen, I have for sale a set of Nill fingergroove stocks for square butt K-frame revolvers. I bought these a couple of years ago, and they look and feel amazing in hand, but I just prefer the look of the factory target stocks. They are in great shape, with only one area that needs a little...

    Brought Home a 15-3 Yesterday

Gentlemen, here are a couple of updated pictures of my 15-3. I was able to quickly locate a set of very nice target stocks locally that are of the correct vintage. I believe that these are made of Walnut. Model 15-3 Target Stocks - Album on Imgur Much better! No worries though. The...

    Brought Home a 15-3 Yesterday

I'm thinking the non-diamond target stocks? I think the diamond design had been removed from all the stocks by 1971 when this 15-3 was built, correct? -Phillip

    Brought Home a 15-3 Yesterday

Thanks for the help, guys! The trigger on this revolver is a beauty...the 2-stage pull is very mild, and the single action pull is very light and breaks like glass. Probably one of the best triggers I've ever felt. Every bit as good as my 1966 15-2, if not better! -Phillip

    Brought Home a 15-3 Yesterday

While I was at the gun store yesterday I spotted a VERY lightly used model 15-3 in the case that was for sale. I talked to the manager and he said that it had been sitting in the case for the better part of a year, so he cut $50 off the price and I came home with it. Here's a link to a couple...
