    Model 34

Thanks Jack. Mine is marked Mod 34 so what you said makes perfect sense.

    Model 34

I recently picked up a Model 34 4 inch square butt with a serial number range of 39XXX. My SCSW 2nd edition indicates the manufacture range would be 1955-58. I don't know if the 3rd edition narrows that range down any. Anybody know? Thanks.

    Model 17 4-screw

Thanks for all the replies. I guess my main concern was the target/hammer combination might not have been from the factory. Now that I know it is I'm happy with it the way it is. It's a wonderful gun.

    Model 17 4-screw

Thanks Jim. I have a .500 trigger that I thought I would have installed but was a little concerned because it seems wider than the trigger guard. The .400 sounded better to me but someone told me that trigger came out after 1960 so it wouldn't be correct for my 1960 model.

    Model 17 4-screw

I have a model 17 from 1960. It has a .500 target hammer but a standard trigger, I assume is .265. I didn't buy it new so I don't know about its history. I was wondering if this was an unusual combination. I would have thought if it had a target hammer it would have had the target trigger as...

    Model 39 mags

Thanks Engine. So my 39-2 with a 72-73 date would be correct with the plastic follower? Is the plastic follower considered to be an improvement?

    Model 39 mags

Hello, I just bought a model 39-2 and was wondering if someone could tell m e about the different followers used on this magazine. I still have a magazine from a previously purchased 39-2 and it has an "X" shaped metal follower. The follower on the 39-2 I just picked up has a plastic follower...

came home with a pair of 60s

Yeah, sorry. I just wasn't sure if this one would have come with the .240" trigger or the .312" smooth one.

came home with a pair of 60s

Just came home with this pair of Model 60s. The pinned barrel one has a serial number range of R32000. Notice the wide target hammer. Does anyone know what trigger would have been on it originally?

    Model 37

Hello, Can anyone help with the date of birth for a Model 37 serial number 5992XX? The seller told me it was 1968. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks, Pete

    M&P Box question

Hello all, I recently picked up a nice gold box that I think is correct for my m&p revolver (serial number 112XXX). My question is, did these revolvers come with the waxy paper? Thanks in advance.

    C&R question

Back when I had an FFL that was my take as well. I would run into other FFL dealers that clearly didn't know the law and I doubt they ever cracked open the applicable USCs or CFRs, or hadn't for decades. Like you said, they can do anything they want with their business. Another question...
