I thought it was just me. I've noticed that since the "upgrade" the one or two folks that seem to stir the pot have multiplied, and where it used to take a few pages to devolve into anarchy, it now takes a few posts. And the occasional run-on sentence, but I digress.

I feel like we the sheep have been told that Iran is "very close" to having a nuclear weapon for the last 2,000 weeks or so. I wonder what changed? Maybe they got "very, very close."

Much like the great "reload" controversy, I'd like to hear some examples of self-defense incidents where a CCW -holder fought his/her way to a rifle.

I have a 34-1 that had the sideplate completely discolored, but nowhere else on the gun. It was the strangest thing. Still shot great, but it bugged me a bit so I had it re-blued- just the plate.

My 5 would be: 4" Model 18 4" Model 19 6" Model 29 3" Model 13 Round butt 442

My 4" Model 19-3 and Gold Cup in .45 are the two pistols I shoot the best. I occasionally carry the .45 on weekends when I know I'll be shooting, but it's a bit heavy and bulky for what I wear while working, so it's plastic fantastic during the week.

You need one of those pearl-white SG Knock-offs Yamaha was making in the 80s.

I have a 19-3 from Dec of 1970. Best trigger I've ever felt on a revolver.

Don't discount the inconvenience of standing there with an empty gun when the shooting is over. Perps have friends and family.
