    Army Aviator Shoulder Holster

Here's an Army VN-era holster. This is the same style I was using in the 1980s. There are quite a few being sold as surplus. Made by Hunter Corporation and showing model #7142700 on the back. I'm not sure if these are truly surplus or just Hunter-marked reproductions.

    Army Aviator Shoulder Holster

Sorry to dredge up an old topic. I was an Army pilot in the 1980s/90s and the .38 revolver was still the issue sidearm for aircrew. We had a mix of Ruger and S&W pistols -- both .38 Specials. I remember two shoulder holster styles in use. One was the quick-draw type as illustrated in the second...

    Model 469 Question

I was pretty impressed that they fixed everything and paid shipping both ways. Nice little pistol. I somewhat regret leaving it sitting in my safe for 20+ years. The other day was really the first time I've fired it since 1989. A much more satisfactory experience than the first time around...

    Model 469 Question

S&W sent me a prepaid FedEx label and my 469 is on its way back to the factory. Pretty impressive they'll stand behind a product that was purchased ~1989.

    Model 469 Question

Hi all, I purchased a S&W 469 new back in the late 1980s while stationed overseas. Took it to the range and it would only fire about 50% of the time. Hammer won't fall completely. Had a gunsmith look at it at the time but the issue was never corrected and the pistol was tucked away in the back...
