    hearing ear protection

I have been using Sonic ear plugs for over 25 years. They have a compression activated valve that allows normal sounds to be heard, but shut out the sudden loud noise from a gunshot. Look here: http://www.earplugstore.com/health-enterprises-acu-life-shooters-impact-ear-plugs.html Chuck

After scouring the carrying case threads.....

The one I linked to has straps to hold the rifle and is only a couple inches longer than the rifle with the stock collapsed. the second rifle compartment will hold extra mags, towels, etc. Chuck

After scouring the carrying case threads.....

I have this one, 2 padded rifle storage compartments, 2 large secondary compartments, and dual backpack-style straps, 2 mag pockets. $34. It's a perfect fit. http://www.amazon.com/Soft-Swiss-Double-Rifle-Backpack/dp/B003ILRKZQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1319835748&sr=1-1 Chuck

    RED DOT suggestions?

I've been real happy with the Walther PS 22 Tactical Red Dot from Midway, $69.99. It works with the original sights. Chuck

    Leaving the 15-22 cocked?

+1, why dry-fire or leave cocked when you can gently release the firing pin?

    Bore Guide for 15-22

I just use a generic cleaning kit with the pointy attachment to push the cloth thru the bbl.

    Preferred Sight

I have a Walther red dot on mine, that I got at Midway. I like that the dot sits right on top of the front sight post. I haven't had it long but today I got 21 out of 25 in the 1" circle at 75 ft, and I expect it to improve with practice. With my eyes, that's about the limit for a non magnified...

    Questions regarding M&P 15-22

So, how does he relate copper, lead, and carbon on a Boresnake to a "file", which is hardened steel? I don't get it. Chuck

NEW GUN LAW FOR BORDER STATES

    home made brass deflector

I need one of those. I got a hot case between my cheek and my glasses today. Ouch. On another note, I was certifying a lady at the range a couple of weeks ago. Let's say she was rather well endowed up front and was wearing a scoop-necked blouse, while shooting a Sig .380. You can guess what...

    What Ammo?

That's right. That's what it does. Life's too short for me to argue on the internet with someone I don't know about what to call a bullet holder. You can call it a magazine, Wilbur, Tiffany, or Mr. Wiggly. I don't care, I won't tell you what to call it.
