I personally carry a Shield, because of the slim grip. I tried a 9mm compact, but the grip was to fat for me. I tried both of these at a gun show, and the Shield won, because it fit my hand. However, I do not carry it on me. It is in my cc purse. I carry a Ruger LCP .380 in my waist band.

I started with a Charter Arms Pink Lady .38 snub (don't like the recoil). Changed to the .380 Taurus TCP, then a Bodyguard. Picked up a 9mm Shield at a gun show and loved the feel. Now I carry the Shield in my purse, and a Ruger LCP .380 in my waist. If my purse is stolen, I plan to get it...

Thanks everyone! We needed something that would work with my husband's M&P 9 and my Shield. Now we will get one!

UpLula I have been reading information about the MagLULA UpLULA, and found a couple of places that said it would not work with a S & W 7 round single stack magazine. This would leave out my M&P Shield. Has anyone tried with this size magazine?
