I carry a nickle 37 with bone grips every day for the past few years, I take it out on the canoe and in all types of foul weather and it has held up great! I did the same to a 960 and it started to rust real fast from summer carry, So the 37 is lighter and the outside is Aluminum so no rust...

It must be from John the owner of Senica arms in Green Lane Pa. He is a good guy and I have bought from his shop in the past. Those 340SC guns are brutal to shoot 357 ammo especially with the back strap exposed, I doubt it has been shot much with 357s. Good price too. Peter

Feel free to remove the cylinder and heat it up in oil in a double boiler and with some really well insulated gloves, Pull the thing out, (Keep string attached) and clean while hot. Important to heat from cool in oil in a cool double boiler over about 20 to 30 min, And allow to cool slow too...
