I sold my 686+ and I have left over moonclips for sale. There are 30 used and 5 new in wrap from Brownells. These fit the 7 shot 686 which has been cut to accept moonclips.

$5.45 for a box of 50 .45's probably means these were not flying off the shelf. In today's dollars, the pistol is $126, and the box of ammo is $43. Looks like reloading was even a better deal back then.
I had some light wad cutter loads that were perfect out of my snub Mod 19. Tried to shoot them out of a my 6" Mod 14 and they stuck about every 3rd bullet. I had to finish them off later out of the snubby.
I want a 625 to shoot USPSA, and have read about the various dash changes. It looks like a 625-6 5" would be best for me, since I do not plan to shoot IDPA, but I'd appreciate some input
