thanks fpr the answer Goony but the 29870 is stamped where the serial numbers are stamped and they all match and the 987102 is the extra number

I have a old M&P model I think its from before they started putting the V in the serial number.Its serial number is 29870 and it is also marked several places with the number 987102 I think that might be a military number but I'm not sure.It has all the regular stuff like the top of the barrel...
