Just bought a S&W 41 22cal target pistol. s/n is 9070. Had what looks like room at the end of the barrel for something, maybe a comp? Anyway, 7"bbl, would like to know when she was born. Any help here? Don't have it yet, will register and bring home tomorrow. Randy

Good Spring morning!! Been a long Winter, so far. Question: Can I shoot 45 auto rim in my 625-8 without the moon clip? Wonder if S&W could make a 45 long Colt cylinder for it as well? I want to get all I can from this wonderful hunk of metal. Randy

Anyone here care to lighten the DA feature of my revolver? My course of fire requires single-handed DA firing. Single-action is just fine. My Dealer would send it back to the factory, no guarantee of results. Home brewed gunsmithing from dedicated forum members might be the answer. Randy...

Shot my first match last night, part of the course requires single-hand, double action shooting. My new toy may need a trigger job, horrendous results. Any ideas? Supposedly this is as good as it will get. Randy

Just got a 625-8 Jerrry Miculek 4" revolver, nice piece! However, I didn't like the smooth grips and installed Hogue grips. Anyway, this will be for target duty using reduced power 45acp. What I would like to know is, what difference is there between what I have and one without fancy grips and...

M36 s/n I got that number inside the frame, on the butt it reads: J138088. Inside the frame it reads: MOD.36, any idea when it was made? Thanks for all the info, Randy

Mine is a 1 7/8" pinned barrel, m36, #11653. I have no idea about where to find a dash, any help? Besides, what is the difference? :D Randy

Many thanks for all the comments, as a result, I will shoot only factory non-+p ammo. This gun may never leave the house, or hopefully the drawer where it sits at the ready. Warm regards to all, Randy
