I forget whats what with the 500 mag brass markings when it comes to primers. If there's no indication at all it's large pistol, and the R means large rifle?

I double checked and it is a set of Lee dies, but it's the three die set.

I had heard this before, but my S&W 500 dies don't crimp unless I'm doing something wrong with the set up? I had to buy a roll crimp die. Somewhere I read that revolver rounds get a roll crimp & auto's get a taper crimp? Seems like it should be easy to remember.

Maybe I need to rephrase my question, I have two tupperware containers of bullets. How do I tell what grain they are if they vary two to four grains? Do I just round up or down to the closest listed weight? They are factory cast bullets with gas checks.

I wondered about weighing each round too. I'm not worried about the prrimers so much, more so a double charge or something. So will the puller posted above damage the bullets by pulling them? I noticed the description says not use with non-jacketed bullets, so how do you pull lead bullets?
