Just received an e-mail from Cabela's saying tentative arrival at Cabela's 6-25-13

Cabela's order from 4-10 for 2100 Federal originally in stock, then backordered till end of month, shipped yesterday out for delivery today. Maybe the log jam is starting to subside. Thanks to all, this forum works !!!

Golfbrad sorry to hear about the problem, glad your ok. Got me thinking, how many guys have had this actually happen to them first hand ?

Cleaned mine before going to the range the first time and it was clean as a whistle.

As a recent owner I have fired American Eagle, Winchester Super X, Federal Bulk, CCI mini mags at the range to see which work best, all performed without a problem. I'll probably go with the Federal bulk at Wally World for the price.

Just purchased a Huldra piston model to go along with my old Colt Sporter, the new .223 works like a charm even kind of like it more than the colt. The gas porting is in front of the forearm so no more gun powder smoke in the face.

Thanks for the response, sounds like the slide fire is good to go for the time being. Addictive is right, she's thinking a red dot scope would round out the package, I just need to find many more magazines !!
