This is a NIB Model 25 45 Colt barrel in 8 3/8" length. The barrel is cut for the pin in the thread shank and the shipped price is $210.00. The first "I will take it" posted followed by a PM locks it down. This is cross posted so the time stamp on a response dictates where it goes.
Thank you,
Robb
I would talk to Andy Horvath about the job. Your money, your gun so go for it. It is the same reason I had Andy convert a Model 28 into a 41 Special, Alan Harton make a 41 Special Model 58 with a mountain gun style barrel and Hamilton a Model 58 in 45 Colt with combat sights. My guns, my money.
I have the same issue due to a broken thumb from my childhood. Every single action revolver I own wears a bisley hammer, even those with regular grip frames. It is the only way I can reach the hammer.
I owned a non engraved factory pinto version of that gun that was shipped to Rex Firearms. The same front sight, barrel length and model. Mine came to me with a set of ivory non factory grips but a member here helped me find the proper grips.
Tell him he as done good! I have three kids who fly for the A/F, all in different frames. Daughter in law flys Osprey for Spec Ops, her husband my son flys MC130J for Spec Ops and the Son in law flys Pavehawk for the Para Rescue jumpers. They all have time "over there" and are within 4 years of...
As a custom revolver fiend, both those guns ring the bell! I have an old model dual cylinder Ruger single six down with Ronnie Wells that I have given him carte blanche to build his version of a “Quest” revolver and I would not be surprised to see something similar once he is done.
