picatinny rail for Burris fastfire2 do you think this tape would secure a picatinny rail section on the top of the slide so I could mount a Burris Fastfire 2?

Just joined this forum after getting a S&W 5906. I am thinking of mounting a Burris fastfire 2 onto it. Anyone know what mount I would need to do this (don't see a specific S&W mount indicated on Burris' webpage - would it be the "standard 1911?)and 2ndly do I just remove the adjustable rear...
