My Shield was delivered to my dealer on Thursday. Took it to the range on Friday and ran about 250 rounds through it. Ran perfectly. I think I've found the pistol that I'll keep for life.

Hogue test fit When I was looking at some grips for my Glock 19, I took the lower frame of the pistol to Cabelas. The salesman let me try some grips on the frame. I ended up buying a Hogue Handall that has palm swells (small raised areas). The palm swells help fit the grip to my hand.

You should use some kind of gunrest to be sure the pistol is not moving when fired. This will tell you if the sights are off or you are having a problem moving the pistol when you pull the trigger.

What is the latest word on deliveries of the 9mm Shield. I have had one on order for about two months.
