I have other S&W revolvers with the football cutouts but I guess that wasn’t enough for the previous owner. They did do a nice job expanding the cutout. So this is now a C&R? Sweet.

Winchester Model 12 Trench Well since others are sharing... I lucked into this just a few months ago. Experts from other forums tell me this is a legit trench gun made in early 1943. Came with the 1917 bayonet and scabbard with is actually British.

The guy I bought it from was at least the 2nd owner. I certainly plan to shoot it.

The guy I bought it from said he never fired it. He also had a 29-3 that he used. Unfortunately he did not have the original box.

A brass brush won't scratch nickel? I have used Flitz with a cotton cloth on a nickel 19-4. Cleaning the cylinder face with cloth takes some time and elbow grease but it works.
