    Hey Cajun , there is another 52 on Gunbroker CM that I was gonna buy , its still there . sometimes its not advertized as the year but when you see the serial #s from K136,691 to K175,637 its a 1952 . On gunsinternational and gunbroker i just put in 1952 in the search bar and everything 52 comes up .

    I corrected my post as my Smith in question ser # 8258xx was born around 1940.So getting it in a maroon box that is labeled and with a helpful hints could be correct ?
