Just got a really nice 38 safety hamerless from 1890's time frame. Can I shoot smokeless ammo through it?

Using 200 grain swc bullets from sand bag for zero. Sight cranked all the way down still 6 inches high

i jus though a lot of pre war guns had the more flat blue finish. this gun has the polished blue finish. it looks orginial and there is not date or star. i don't remeber if ther was a b or n. i am going to buy this gun tommarow and will look. do you think if this gun has orginial finish for 550...

what would be the orginal finish for a .38 hand ejector 4th change target? i am looking at one for $550 that is probably about 90%-95% and has a polished blue finish. thanks

i just got your k/n frame adapter. fits great and feels good. put it on a pre 27 and a 28-2. fits just as good and looks like a tyler. went to take pictures and camera was dead. it is charging and pictures will come soon. you will sell a bunch of these. thanks
