I have a six inch barrel and it has partridge sight.most five inch have ramp front sights

good shooters I have one without the target hammer and rubber grips .it was probably a police trade in as apd 112 in electric pencil is under the grips

have see short barreled rugers without front sights for use as quick draw guns but that was forty years ago

try to get a wonder sight it might help to adjust bullet impact

do not know what double or triple retention is but have high gloss flap holster made by steliz saddelery houston fits 1917 or hd two snaps but high sights could be a problem think holster 40 + years old had since 1970 could be what you are looking for or not

lee s gun parts had 1917 cylinders several years ago and were very helpful

my guess is its armoly a oilfield coating used in the 70 s and the grips look like mustangs
