Poor Man’s Collection, Part Deux ( a decade later......)

That 11-4 is not often found around here. Plenty of BSR's, but the 11-4...not so much.

    25’s. One missing…

When you are done gathering all the 57's you will have to start on the 58's. S&W made it easy for you. 4: barrel only.

I have a G.S.P. 28-2 coming home now from S&W. I will make a point of photographing it as well when it arrives.

    Sax Symbol?

You have good taste in drummers. I saw Elvin, live at the Light House in 1971. I think it was Archie Shepp in the lead but I was too fascinated by Mr. Jones to remember. I grew up listening to Coltrane (Meditations, etc.) and developed a weird sense of time signature because of it. Then came...

From the keyboard of a retired Warthawg pilot. "Hey, dad. That's hilarious. I certainly didn't mind the amenities that got us that reputation. Haha. I do think it was pretty generous to lump the navy in with the Marines. They're pretty casual when they're not underway. Ha."

The Army actually had some 310's when I was at Adams Field. They had one at the Reserve Flight Facility at Norman, OK. Also, the DEA station at Adams Fld. had a 310 and a real OH-6. I would fly with the DEA pilot in the 310 when he needed some hood time. No unusual attitudes, just a couple...

    Are These Cokes?

Palm swell on Non-relieved Targets from the first half of the 1950's, before cokes were introduced. Note the checkering pattern does not go below the butt. (also a key feature of cokes). This example is a little more pronounced than others.
