    New to me OSS Victory

I know for fact that the side ways W does not always indicate OSS issue. Mine with the W was shipped to the IL State AG (Army NG). It's too bad Pate did not go into the subject a little deeper.

    Home invasion Canadian style

"some liberal idiot police chiefs"? It seems to me to be a pretty strong indication on how to base my judgement. If his is NOT the dominant view point in Canada then why would a free population allow him the power he holds?

    New to me OSS Victory

Charles Pate's book is highly recommended for your research. Many Navy contract guns were diverted to OSS with no property marks inspection or acceptance marks. Rosslyn, Oakland and other destinations are listed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Some Vietnam era sensors.

    Army to close many museums

Of the museums listed Ft. Knox is my favorite. I'm glad Ft. Rucker (Ft. Novasell) is not on the hit list, but I'm prejudiced.

    29-2 at Local Pawn Shop

Sadly, the pawn shop guy turned out to be a real flake, After several attempts to buy I finally gave up on him, never to go back again. It's either for sale or it's not. I don't need the hassle.

Same ones I had on K316720. I just shuffled them around. Edit to note: K316720 is not model marked, although it looks like a model 19. Shipped March, 1958, IAW Roy.

Picking Up an Early Combat Magnum Tomorrow

My letter for K260528 arrived today. It is a first year CM as I thought. June 27, 1956. I had hoped it went to some one famous but no, R S Elliott Arms Company. They were ordering the good stuff, six 3 1/2" 357's, Three 5" 357's, one 8 3/8" 357, five 6 1/2" 44 Magnums and five of these...

    Auction on M-53

I've shot my 6" 53 with the old green box Remington and the new PPU. The PPU is considerably milder. Both were very accurate but the old stuff really gets your attention. Have not used the LR cylinder or the inserts at all. I have K22 Masterpieces for 22 LR.

    Early Targets Stocks @ auction

The OP's smooth targets look somewhat like these except these have a larger relief area. Mine had chips out of the lower rear so they are with my wood expert friend in Ohio for repair.
