A great combo indeed!

After all these years, I still carry my M&P Shield 9 (1.0) with my N8 Tactical IWB holster along with my 442 in my pocket. Even with the evolution of the 2.0 Shield 9 offering enchantments and more capacity, I have yet to be motivated to replace it. Shared album - Revolver Den - Google Photos

That pretty much sums it up for me as well. I've been pocket carrying my 442-1 99.9% of the time ever since I bought in 1997. Ankle carried it as a on-duty backup all those year up until retirement from the P.D.. I still carry my 442 today, it's a lifetime companion now for me. I trust my life...

Also a NYS CCW permit holder and retired Police Officer. I have both the M&P Shield 9 (1.0) and have fired the M&P Shield 2.0 at the range. Other than the capacity increase in the 2.0, the other changes including the trigger action were not overly discernible. Because you'll be a NYS CCW permit...

The 45C is the model I am looking at to replace both my Springfield XDS.45 and Glock 30S.

Had this on my list for sometime, and I finally had a chance yesterday to make a decision after comparing it to a LC9. I chose the M&P Shield 9 (No Thumb Safety version) over the LC9 as the trigger felt better and the overall feel of the gun in my hand felt comfortable without any repositioning...

Poor Lurch, after he died years had passed and his cremains were lost despite some reports that his ashes were scattered, they were noted as being buried in the yard of his home which was later sold and torn down.... Also of note, he did the Voiceover for the opening credits of the TV series...

+1 ! I'd say to anyone considering parting with ANY S&W Revolver 3" or shorter in .357 or .44, and any J-frame snubby needs to heed the above words by Kaaskop49! These are lifetime guns to own and do not belong in any realm of indecision... Posted via Tapatalk App
