    Did I blow it? I realy want one bad. I'm going to shoot it, not let it sit in the safe. The shop had a date on it of 1957, if someone has the s/n range for that year I could verify that. It had very tight lock up and beautiful bore. Why did I pass? It had been reblued. Factory letter...

    Not my first S&W but my first post here and my first Model 28 Picked this up last week. Guy at the store said that he got it from the widow of a Highway Patrolman. It's a 28-2 sn# N257*** Maybe 1975-76? It's been shot but is pretty tight. $440 with the leather here in Ca Probably won't...
