Buddy of mine picked up a 686 no dash and there is an S stamped on inside the crane, what does mean?

My 66 no dash. Just added Hogue grip and shot 50 rounds, yes, it was fun :)

And was wondering what velocity you guys prefer for target and plinking out of a 66? Don't want to beat my gun up and I have to try out my new Hogue grips :) Will be using AA7 and 158gr XTP's. I was thinking around 900-1000 fps should be pleasantly fun.

Did a little shooting this past weekend and I need a scope . Thoughts on the a Nikon 3x32 or maybe Leupold 1-4x20. Just a scope for mid range target and for the occasional yote or varmint.
