.38sp @ the range: LRN vs FMJ?

Dont switch back and forth between lead and jacketed. Copper fouling will strip lead from your bullets and make the bore really fouled quick. I would stick to lead in a 38 and use jacketed in the speedier 357. If you can find some 38 loaded with 148gr DEWC bullets, they are what made the 38spl...

What is intended market for 5.56 match grade ammo

It's the military training and equipment that gives those bullets a more lethal nature due to the inherent accuracy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

What is intended market for 5.56 match grade ammo

Military small-arms are limited to non-expanding ammunition. Just because the military uses them on soft targets, does not mean they are the best bullet for such a purpose. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

What is intended market for 5.56 match grade ammo

Just because they are hollow point does not necessarily mean they are for hunting or defense. In particular, those match kings have been proven to be terrible game bullets. The hollow point is this case is merely a method of redistributing the mass of the bullet to change its center of gravity...

    44/40 and 45/60 ...to France

I've never actually seen a piece of 45-60 brass if that is what you're really looking for. I think you'll need to trim down 45-70 or 45 basic if that is really what you need. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    44/40 and 45/60 ...to France

Their site is down for maintenance but I can imagine that starline would send you all the 44-40 and 45-70 brass you want? Is there some sort of legal obstacle? P.S. It's an unfortunate coincidence but I can't read your post without giving you Dan akroyd's voice as a conehead. Lol Sent from my...

    .22 Magnum Defense?

A 22 mag on your hip is better than a 357 or 44 at home. It will pack all day a little easier too. I can see it being a great camp gun for varmints and plinking. I would pick something else for personal protection however. Of course, like I said, it's better than not having a gun. Sent from my...

Where does the 44 Special fall short compared to the 44 Magnum?

Put a big flat nose slug of lead in it and it won't lack for knock down power at low velocity with anything short of grizzly bears. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    Jet Ammo

I pulled the bullets from about 150 of these today if someone needs the smaller bore bullets. I have a contender barrel in 22 jet with .224 bore and they didn't shoot well. They're .2225 40 gr sp. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
