i have a pile of favorite S&W revolvers but this one rises to the top. it is the most accurate and by far the smoothest action of any of my Smiths. It's a 14-5 .38spl 6". They are fairly rare and built up by smith to be a target pistol.. absolutely awesome to shoot

I recently scored a used S&W Model 1700 LS in 243. It's in good shape except for the damaged grip cap with the S&W Logo. It's probably a long shot but would anyone know if a replacement cap might be available and how I might find one? Any advice or direction would be appreciated! Thanks!

They are just a tad loose, almost perfect but I know it will shift under recoil and be annoying, I wanna tighten them up but don't want to strip it, it's as tight right now as I'm willing to go based on prior failed experiences with stuff like this
