If you use a scope mount that positions the scope at the same height as the iron sights, you don't need a stock with a cheek riser. I have a NightForce scope mounted on a Warne AR-15 height mount and I don't need a cheek riser to see correctly through the scope.

Unless you can get a 6.5 creedmoor barrel from S&W I'd say no. The M&P 10 is proprietary 308 rifle.

I found out that the colt AR15 lever is ambidextrous, so I bought one and installed it, and it works perfectly. Its also longer than the M&P's which is better for my small thumb.

I'd been using the Magpul 25 round mags with no problem. Note that they have two versions of this Mag, one for standard .308 rounds and one for longer .308 rounds. I used the standard PMAG® 25 LR/SR GEN M3™ Window Mags.

I contacted SLR rifleworks asking if they have a compatible adjustable gas block for the M&P 10 and they replied that their Sentry 7 is compatible with the M&P 10 which requires a .750 gas block.
