Grizzlies Were Raiding Montana Farms. Then Came Some Formidable Dogs.

When we are traveling on the Navajo Rez we often come across large sheep herds, like in thousands. Interspersed among them you see a scattering of Great Pyrenees and Anatolians which are raised from puppies alongside the sheep. Then around the edges of the flock are border collies holding the...

Gift from a Friend—High Standard Supermatic Citation—Fooled Me

I believe that Supermatic Citation sticker on the box got there mistakenly. That is an S101 Supermatic, not a Citation, and not military model. Very nice example you have, and good history as well! I have one I picked up a couple years ago. Here it is pictured with a couple of model 34 siblings.

Hard to watch anything these days - so I resorted to this!

Our local Rotary Club operates a "Free Little Library" program that has small boxes scattered around town where readers can pick up books to read and drop off books they've read. Lots of good stuff shows up and it changes constantly so I stop by them often. As to collecting books that is only...

Hard to watch anything these days - so I resorted to this!

I read a book or three every week with many genres represented in my mix. We watch a few movies on tv and the occasional series but basically turn it off in June and don't watch again until late fall, too much to do outside to waste time in front of a tv.

    Any 34-1 fans out there?

I have two, a 2" RB in nickel and a Kit Gun in 4". And I'm glad I have them too! They are great little guns. Shown here with an older sibling, a model of 1955 Airweight 3-1/2" (pre 42).
