    M1 Carbine Fans?

I was given this Quality Hardware M1 carbine several years ago. I gave my CMP Inland M1 carbine to one of my sons when I was given the QH. My other son will get the QH carbine when I'm gone. I've owned numerous carbines over the decades, both GI and a couple Plainfields. I served in...

    .32 Long revolver

The S.N. is 5982xx and my mistake, the grips do match the revolver. Why I remember it being off by 40 I have no idea except possibly old age, which is a bit frightening. Where does that number put it in production? Thanks all.

    .32 Long revolver

I picked up a 50s vintage .32 SW Long revolver in a trade recently. I was told by the previous owner that it had been used by a relative who drove a prisoner transfer bus for a county sheriff, thus it was carried and not shot. The grips are oversize (fortunately) and while not exactly numbered...

    1006 Broken Extractor?

I finally got the extractor, pin, and extractor spring ordered from Numrich back in March. The extractor is part numbered for a .40 but it is the same dimension as the 1006 extractor in my piece except that the exterior of the extractor has an angle to conform to the slide whereas the 1006...

    Altamonts for N frames

I needed something more hand filling for my new production 27 and my round butt .44 special so I picked up a pair of Altamonts for the revolvers. I feel they turned out pretty well. Just something to break up the quarantine boredom!

    1006 Broken Extractor?

Called S&W, they do not have the parts in stock, they are obsolete. I will try the forum member BMCM as mentioned. Thanks all.

    1006 Broken Extractor?

The extractor spring was a Wolff. I replaced it because it was failing to extract fired cases. I did the install as described and had a couple of years of no issues until the last outing. I quit shooting when I had a failure to extract on just about every magazine. I haven't taken it down...

    1006 Broken Extractor?

The only extractors I've found on the web for sale are used ones on Ebay. S seller has a number of used 10mm extractors for sale. From what is being said the part is not a drop in item. Also, why would used extractors be for sale I wonder? Where did they come from? Does anyone have a line on...

    1006 Broken Extractor?

Anyone experience a broken extractor with a 1006? Mine is fine and the extractor appears stout but if they do break I will look to obtain a back up part.
