I have the 9c and absolutely love it. It is my EDC and all around favorite pistol. You should love it.

It was the mag that came with the rifle so I am not sure what it is called. I very easily could have overloaded the mag, my allergies were bothering me and I lost count so I just filled it until it stopped. I will check it out the next time I go fire it. Thanks

And noticed that my magazine would not seat unless the charging handle was locked open. I am really new to this platform and have only fired it one other time. I don't remember it being this way the last time I fired it. Is this normal?

I have the P223 in 3-9 and love it. As stated in an earlier post, very clear optics and easy to adjust.

Took my 15 out for a test drive today. I LOVE THAT RIFLE! Ran 100 rounds of Remington 55 grain green box through it with 0 issues.

That's good to know. I had no idea that the H stood for heavy. Just makes sense. At least more sense than my exhaust theory. LOL!

What is a buffer and what is an h-buffer? I am assuming that an h-buffer is similar to an h-pipe on an exhaust system in that it equalizes pressure. How correct would that be? Which one does my OR have and would it help anything to change it?

Stupid question number 437.389 I always clean my new pistols after I buy them but before I shoot them. Good habit to stay in with the 15? I can only assume so.

I have pretty much decided to bypass the BUIS simply because I am right handed but left eye dominant. For now I have picked up a sightmark red dot sight. Just to get used to one. I will pick up a better one at a later date. For now that is all I have done to it. I am thinking of a low profile...

Looking at the Troy BUS, I am noticing that there are different heights for the front, is that a user preference or is there a rule of thumb in measuring? Also, do I need to get a matching height for the rear? Looking at the gun it appears that the rear would be the same.

Thanks gang. I have no experience with this rifle at all so I may ask a bunch of stupid questions. Like...This has the standard handguard on it, am I correct in assuming that if I replace it with a quad rail, that it needs to be the same length because of the gas block?

The M&P15OR. Any ideas where I can find upgrades (lol)?
