Hello everyone! I'm a noob to my new 15-22 so please bear with me. Can anyone tell me how to remove the hand guard on the 15-22? It was filthy out of ther box and I want to remove it so I can clean the barrel under it. Thanks! Please help

first day at range Only mod so far is Tasco Pro-Point red dot scope. Looking for hand rail covers to soften up feel.

Chattanooga, I have the same pro-point you have, and want to mount it on my 15-22. Did you replace the scope rings to fit the riser or did you find a riser that fit the original rings?

Hey all, just received my M&P 15-22. Nothing down range yet but will change that this weekend. First mod looks like Larue hand guard rings just to take edge off. Ready for action once I mount my Pro-point Red Dot. Take care all:)
