Problem solved! I got brave, dissasembled the gun, cleaned it, lubricated it and from rattle snake I have a Python again!
Saddly I nicked one screw just a bit :(
I was also shooting today - 12 shots on 11 yards (10 meters)
Gun is definetly a solid shooter!
Im just bit surprised, that it...
Being a Czech native I know a lot about those things - I even shoot CZ 70 for my license exams :D
Those guns are not great by any mean. You can get them for around 50 bucks and no one wants them at all :(
CZ 50 is solid made from good materials but those are rare. CZ 70 is not that good...
Well, it was nice game. Your victory was well deserved... Our team played good, kept pressure on, but to win you need to put some goals in, that we didn´t.
Sadly there is no-one to replace those old players...
It is very nice match I must say, both team play very equally. I´m concerned about our performance since average age of Czech team is well over 30, Jaromir Jagr is 42...
It rattles even when cylinder locked by dropping hammer and holding trigger. As desrcibed above - faint "tick" when you turn gun from left to right. But everything work :)
Those repair people in Germany are close, but you cannot transport gun in europe...
I would love to do that, but since I live in Czech Republic I very much doubt that this is an option for me :D
I will have to work with local resources :D
Any way how to check without takin appart the gun? I can hear the sound in any condition - hammer cocked, hammer fully forward with trigger held back and hammer resting on block also.
Well, I kinda doubt that we have any specialist gunsmith on Python in Czech Republic... But my gunsmith is really good and when he is in doubt he wouldnt do nothing with it...
