My rim fires Model 63 and Model 650

Which is (more) correct? Chief Special or Chief's Special, when referring to J frames such as models 36 & 60. I have seen both names used but recall a picture of an old red box with Chief Special printed on the end. I also think Chiefs Special was used for an autoloader model.

I did a detail strip and clean of a little .22 MRF this morning. I was expecting the cylinder thread to be be CCW to loosen, nope it was CW to loosen same as my older J Frames from the '50s. This model 650 is from about 1982, can anyone tell me when the thread change actually occurred?

I am about 90 minutes from Bangor, just north of Brunswick area.
