i got myself one of those with the original style grips on it - with the lanyard ring on the bottom , and it felt great in my hand - took it out and the first shot i sent through came back agains the bone in my thumb , and that ruined my day on the range - switched , but saved , the stock grips...

anyone ever hear of moon clips ? the only problem is that smith doesnt make them for the five shot j frame - but an eight shot moon clip for a 357 - as the ad says - priceless
