    Cokes for my 57

Those are good looking grips, and they look great on that 57.

    The value of a letter...

If you have the time, please post a photo of this revolver. I good friend works for them, and I know he'd love to see it.

    Smith wesson model 58

I have S295XXX which is in nice condition and from '66 I believe. I made a near two-hour drive to meet a gentleman from this board. We had a very good conversation, and I really enjoyed meeting him. It also has matching grips.

Let's see your Law Enforcement Marked Smiths!

With eleven days to go, it's almost at $2700 already. I'm very curious how high this one goes.

Has anyone here shot anyone as a civilian?

I wish I had a dollar for every time I was asked this question during my law enforcement career. Over and over and over again.

    1964-2014...The .41 Magnum

I cast these with a 215 gr. H&G mold. I stuff them with either 7.8 gr. Unique or 15.3 gr. 2400.

    A most disquieting experience.

Maybe they kept circling the block to look at those Cheetos britches. As big a fan of Cheetos as I am, I had zero clue they made a line of clothing.

Two SAPD 58s..... This thread has taken a cruel turn. One day, one day.

    1964-2014...The .41 Magnum

Here it is minus the Pachmayr grips. I'm still tickled pink to have it. Now, if I could only get my hands on the eternally elusive SAPD 58.

    Pair of 57s

That's a fine brace of 57s. I only have one, but it's solidly in the favorites pile just a hair behind the 58. And then it moves just a hair ahead of the 58 when I shoot it.

San Francisco PD Model 58. My favorite that's actually marked happens to be a Marlin rifle. You don't see many PD marked lever guns.

Loaded My 30,000th Round of .45 Today

I dearly enjoy my revolvers, but the 1911 is my absolute favorite. I have no idea how many rounds of .45 I've loaded over the years, but here is a batch of 5,000 I put together over six weeks early in '23. It took so long because I had other stuff going on and I started with dirty brass and a...

Mod 10 Straham Custom For GA Highway Patrol

Strahan also had a semi-auto modification called the Accu-lock, I believe. A friend of mine had it done on one of his 1911s. Supposedly, this is the only one ever done on a .38 Super. It was an amazingly accurate shooter, that I can attest to.
