I snagged one of these as well, love the trigger on the Plus. However, my wife loved it also, and claimed it as her own. [emoji51] $cott

What kind of knife do you carry, if any?

    Today…Skallywag Tactical, Jolly Rodger.

How many Military & Police actually carry the M&P?

Sounds like I may work for the same security company! I also was not a fan of the M&P 40. And I also love my Shield! Scott

To carry, or not to carry....

I echo many replies already made…in the last thirty years as a private security officer, LEO, and civilian I’ve never left the house unarmed. It’s become so routine, it’s like putting on pants. No matter what side of town your on, fate may decide to screw you…I sincerely hope not, but if so...

WHERE DO YOU CARRY YOUR KNIFE?

Folder, in the right rear pocket. Fixed blade, as a neck knife. My use of a blade is purely as a cutting tool not a self defense tool, so location is not a critical factor for me. Scott

    I couldn't put it off any longer - 686+ 3 inch

IMHO the 3” shoots like a 4-5” gun, but carries like a 2-2.5”. That’s why I refer to a 3” as a “Do anything revolver”. Also a 3” gun has a full length ejector rod which aids in reloads. $cott

Congrats! This was on my short list for a while and last year it happened. The 3” 686 is IMHO the best “does it all” revolver out there. $cott
