It's the Gen 1 45c upgraded to 2.0 specs. Just about the same size as the 9mm 4 inch compact model. Couple millimeters wider in the slide. I have the first gen, and it's a great compact .45. I wouldn't call it sub-compact though.

Street price on the FDE's is so low that I think I'll go that direction with some Apex goodness. I would have to get rid of that rear site anyway and I'm not sure I would be coming out ahead. CORE model would have me interested though.

Same boat here. I feel like the instant I buy a 1.0 version, SW will announce the 2.0. I should probably just make the sacrifice for the good of everyone else.
