The only time u picking night sight or any sights would be a problem for concealed carry is if u had sights designed for over a suppressor. Otherwise it's all preference
i have had ZERO problems with my fs 45( over 3k rounds) and my shield 9 (over 800 rounds) personally i love mine and wouldnt trade them for anything. my bestfriend wasnt a smith and wesson fan until he shot mine and his shield has been good for him as well
I carry my shield 9 everyday, when I'm home for the night I walk around with my fs m&p 45 with a streamlight laser light combo on it. That is also what is by my side when I'm sleeping
most def try appendix, when i am wearing shorts or tighter clothes appendix is alot easier to conceal and i have never had it print. for work i wear my shield in a crossbreed mini tuck. check out gcode incog holster. best appendix i have ever tried
if it was stock its just a white dot they arent tritium if they were they would glow in the dark. happens on alot of m&ps just get some aftermarket ones or take some nail polish/ hobby paint and put a new dot
you will not notice the weight. your stat may be tru but i would rather have it in case i needed it then not. i have personally had a defense situation where they were far enough away. it was a invasion on my personal garage and they had a 38 special in thier back pocket and were atleast 15 feet...
shield ones are quite hard to get off. shooters world just called me yesterday to let me know they broke my shield trying to put the sights on........ i am now waiting on my new slide to arrive from s&w and for them to put my ameriglos on for free.
