I just put a S/W M&P Shield 9mm 1.0 on layaway and will get after Christmas next Friday. I got a deal on it new for $284 out the door price. Do you think that was a good buy? I sold my old Shield 1.0 about a year ago and regretted it.

I tell you what. That 7 round magazine for the shield 45 is no joke...lol It drove me nuts for a little while. I finally got it back together and you have to line it up just right for the backplate to go on.

I got the Shield 45 with the safety. Reason, they did not have a non - thumb safety in stock... I could not wait. :-) I am like a kid in the candy store.

I just got a 9c a few weeks ago. My trigger is a little gritty. I am also concedering the Apex FSS & the Aluminum trigger kit. I want the pull around 5 - 5.5 lbs.

Well, i just got the Trijicon HD night sights installed on my M&P 9c. So far I love them. Can't wait to try them out.

I went to the range today with my new 9c. I must say I am surprised the trigger is not that bad. 100 rounds and the 9c is really accurate.

Any recommendations on IWB / OWB holsters with the thumb safety?
