I finally got my Combat Masterpiece to complement my Model 18

I was finally able to pick up a Combat Masterpiece to complement my Model 18. I was told it's a 1957 (K 3116xx) and it was sent out before they started marking them model 15. I'm guess it was nickel plated aftermarket. The nickel is chipping, but everything else is good to go. If you guys have...

rimfired it's actually a private Christian University of all places. I'm going to talk to the guy that runs that area and see if he'll let me check them out.

Hey guys maybe you can help me figure out a S&W that's at my school. I happened to notice this a couple days ago in a display. These are some cell phone pic's for now. I know the one on the left is a S&W what model is it? I'm not sure whats on the right.

I finish is rough from being holstered. I will post way better pic's when I get it out of jail. The front post was also nickeled though, as well as the rear sight. I also think I remember see's exposed pins.

So then what do I call it? Model 15, Combat Masterpiece...

Ok I got to see it in person today and the Serial # K 311xxx. There are no M15 markings on the revolver anywhere. The nickel plating need refinishing due to holstering. Here a crappy cell phone picture. I'll be picking this baby up in 10 days.

Bruce Lee I'm doing the transfer tomorrow and he just gave me the numbers. Maybe K is in front of those numbers.

Well quarter size today. My buddy gave me some of his old target grips.
