How's the recoil on these since they are lightweight vs a Model 30 or 31? I've wrist problems and recoil makes a difference. I would mostly shoot .32 longs.
Thanks.
It's a blued Model 30-1. Perhaps I didn't use the right term. I mean the brass colored S&W inserts in the grips. Unfortunately, I don't know how to upload photos.
Thanks.
I'm looking at buying some older Smiths. I see that some of them have that greenish tarnish on the S&W roundel. Is that removable or just leave it alone?
Thanks for any info.
What would an OK price for an ANIB 431PD? Everything is there. A similar quality 432PD recently went for over $750 on Gunbroker. I much prefer the opportunity to shoot single action on the 431PD. Is one version rarer than the other?
Thanks for any opinions.
In my looking at .32s I find that I can get a LNIB Model 432PD or a LNIB Model 30, 30-1 for approximately the same price. Seeing them both in person where I live would probably not happen. I'd like some thoughts on which one might be the better buy looking at the long term. I'll mostly shoot...
I've come across a S&W for sale that the seller is calling a Model 32. He looked at the yoke and there is no model number. The serial number is 677721. It says .32 long on the barrel and has a flat latch. Any info about what model this is and approximate date of manufacture would be greatly...
I went to a gunshow today and was able to buy a Model 631 4". It was unfired and the box, all paperwork and tools were in perfect condition. The toolkit bag was even still sealed. I don't know how to upload photos so no pictures. I want to thank everyone for their help in this thread. I'm going...
I've been looking to purchase a .32 type revolver. I've looked at .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Magnum and .327 Federal Magnum. I found in my research that the .327 can handle all the .32 type cartridges. If I bought a .327 and shot a lot of .32 S&W Long in it, would there be any damage to the chambers...
I've thinking of trying to buy a 30-1. Seller says LNIB. It has all papers, box, tools, etc. The barrel is 2 inch and the Serial number starts H57. What would be a fair price for this?
Thanks for any opinions.
