Finally received the 36, I got at an auction for equivalent of 109$.
Frame was filled to the top with a sticky, black goo. Took me hours to get it out (still not a 100%). But the visit at the range compensated for all that: quite a shooter, that little thing! I'm very pleased.
Target was at...
Thanks for the warm welcome.
Hopefully there is soon something, that I can share with you.
I'm nowhere near as experienced as most of you.
I started shooting 4 years ago, because my boss talked me into it.
And do competition shooting for 3 years now.
So, I'm quite new to that field...
@gdnagle:
I wouldn't call it relaxed.... it involves tremendous paperwork, patience and even psychological exams to obtain a possession license (still not good for carrying).
But we can own a limited amount of firearms.
In my case: some fine Smith&Wessons pieces [emoji106]🏻
Thanks!
Was looking for an old 36 with tapered 3" and round butt, but ended up with this one.
Hope to find out something about the background as well.
I'll send another pic, when I get my hands on it.
Hey members,
after reading the forum for some time, I finally signed up.
Took the opportunity after winning an auction for my fourth Smith&Wesson yesterday. Oh yeah.
Can't wait to get my hands on it:
A model 36 - let me know what you think of it.
Cheers and thanks to all of you, sharing...
