    NEW Alliant BE-86 powder

    NEW Alliant BE-86 powder

Thought you would find this interesting......I just purchased some of this powder from a distributor. When I went to the Alliant website there was no load data published so I called Alliant and talked with Dwayne. He told me that this powder was not supposed to have been released for retail...

Neat read for S&W Mod 1000, where to find parts too.

one of the best places for parts for the model 1000 is LSG manufacturing at LSG, Mfg|Gun Parts|Warranty|Gunsmithing. Frank owns this business and has a contract with five different gun manufacturers for gunsmithing. Nice guy to deal with.

    Model 1000 cycle problem

hello model70 and thanks for the response. All the steps that you have listed have been taken. Additionally, upon acquiring this gun a couple of months ago I called Frank at LSG manufacturing to get his take on this shotgun. He immediately advised to go ahead and replace the hammer spring and...

    Model 1000 cycle problem

I recently purchased a used Mod 1000 in 20 gauge. I have been reading threads dated back to 2010 but couldn't find a remedy for my problem. I have a 20 ga. The gun cylces perfectly but when the cycle is complete I have a "dead" trigger". I can empty the gun and cycle it by hand and the...

    Tumbling media headsup

Sorry the link didn't work. Just go to Zoro Tools Industrial Supplies and search for item G2165387: 40 lb bags of corn cob media for $22.91 + $5 flat rate shipping. The 20-40 grit works great on all casings without clogging in the primer hole.

    Tumbling media headsup

I recently discovered Zoro Tools Industrial Supplies. Their tumbling media is cheaper than drillspot and shipping is a flat rate. The 20/40 grit (fine) is what I use because it will not stick in .223 cases. I'm not associated with them, I simply like to see us save a buck or two when we can.

    Police State?

And then there's the situation where I see an off-duty correctional officer walking into a local supermarket wearing shorts and polo short with an exposed personal sidearm and state corrections badge on his belt for the entire world to see. This whole senario was screaming "wanna-be". I am a...
