I haven't used these particular bullets before, but their .224 jacketed bullets are outstanding for the price.
38-148gr. WC
I've also had friends use some of their plated bullets with great success.
edit: I didn't realize they weren't hollow base before I posted. Will these still work or do...
This thread is chock full of beautiful grips and revolvers that make me desperately want to spend money I don't have.
Forgive my humble entry, but this is my only smooth gripped gun at the moment:
Ahrends retro bananas in bubinga on a 13-3.
While that's not a smoking deal now, you may be kicking yourself in a few years when you aren't able to find anything similar for less than $700+ Around here $599 for any .357 S&W is a fairly good deal. The only ones I've seen at or below that price have lasted less than a day or have...
I just got a set from Gripseller as well. Here's a set of Ahrends retro bananas on my 13-3:
I actually learned about Gripseller and Ahrends grips from this forum. You guys are a bad influence :)
The Glock turned into a P220R carry which in turn changed into the no-dash no-m 686 pictured. The revolver also included the original box, paperwork, and wax paper  Eventually I'll send it back home for the -m recall but I'll probably wait until I have the money saved up for a master...
I just recently purchase a gun exactly as you describe; 3" 13-3, no box or papers, Pachmayr grips. I paid $460 out the door for it and thought it was a pretty good deal. In my area I don't typically see .357 Smiths sell for under $650. The place I got it from had just put it out for sale and...
This was the post that made me end up with a 642:
Project: Break my J frame.
He's just recently (4/6) broke the 5k round mark. Another poster in the same thread broke 2k with his 637. I highly doubt one could wear out a modern j-frame aside from flat out abuse. If you do, I'm sure S&W would...
There is one thing to be extremely careful with in regards to trail boss, and that is compression. Compressed trail boss is extremely dangerous as far as burn rate and pressure. It's great for light to medium loads but don't try to hot rod it. Make sure if you are using a longer bullet not to...
I've got a Shielded holster for my Glock 19 and while I like the holster in general it does have a serious design flaw. On my particular holster (I'm not sure if they are all this way) the sight channel is only cut to approximately the ejection port. When drawing if I don't break my wrist...
