Does anyone shoot anything other than 9mm?

I've never owned or shot a 9 mm having generally carried and shot .45 ACP or .45 Colt. Aging hands have forced me down to .38, but, more and more, .380 is my preferred pistol. 9 mm is certainly very popular, but I developed a "mental block" against the caliber many years ago, kinda like the...

Outdoors Trader Swap Meet a Bust

My work used to take me in and around Atlanta constantly - since retiring many, many years ago I NEVER travel anywhere near it for any reason! Avoid it like the plague. In fact, I've never been to the ODT Swap Meet in Cobb County because it's way too close to Atlanta for me.

ISO part for rear sight on 25-2

Thank you very much for that information! I had looked at the Brownell's site but didn't see anything other than the complete sight assembly, and none of those in the "old style". I'll try the Smith and Wesson phone number first and see if I can get one there. Again - thank you!

ISO part for rear sight on 25-2

I have searched online for a "rear sight elevation stud" for my Model 25-2 from 1984 a while now and the best I can come up with is Numrich Arms and MD's Gun Repair, both of whom show it "out of stock". The only other solution I've encountered is a complete rear sight assembly but I hate to...

A way not to get scammed buying on the trade forum..

I wholeheartedly agree with using extreme caution in all dealings on the internet, to include trusted forums. But I also agree wholeheartedly with the above - I would be at a loss if someone wanted to do a "video call", wouldn't have a clue ........

    New (to me)scam

The text message posted by AugieTN above regarding "Purchase Alert....." is one I've been seeing a lot of lately. It's sad that there seem to be so many nowadays that think scamming others is a reasonable way to make money.
