An alternate school of thinking I've subscribed to is to order 100 of the factory moon clips for $75 from Ranch Products. Sit there in front of the tv for an evening loading them, and you're good to go for 824 (100+3) rounds.

You got one *NEW* for $700? Are gun prices in NC really almost *half* what they are in CA? I'm in the middle of the 10-day waiting period on mine, I got it used, and I paid a tad more than you. And for my region, mine was a bargain. Hell, even on GunBroker they're running more than $700...

I was at the range/shop yesterday and saw the sign advertising this deal. I took note of it, but thats about it - I'm a revolver guy at heart. But upon reading this thread and doing some research into prices, I think I'm sold - I can throw one of these into my collection for a few hundred...
