I bought a couple, one from Hank's Belts...they are on eBay, and another from Forest Hill. boyj 1 1/2 in wide, and carry my holstered guns just fine. Very thick leather...much better than my 1 1/4" Tandy special that I made years ago.A bit expen$ive, but hank's belts are said to last 100 years.(?)
It's basically what you find that fits you best. Back in the Dark Ages, I owned a Dan Wesson with both the 6" and 4" barrels, also with Pachmayrs. Very accurate with either barrel. After shooting both barrels, I settled on the 4", length and haven't changed. through several revolvers. Think a...
Looking for a decent replacement for what I call "Hot .38, mild Magnum" loads. 4" barrel. I've never tried Power Pistol, but it is mentioned favorably on most forums, and seems to fill the case pretty well.
I've tried Hodgdon's Universal and Trail Boss, with variable results.

In my never-humble opinion, sticking bullets in a pistol barrel has been greatly overdiscussed. Not that I haven't done it myself, but It is my firm belief that no reliable manual's standard .38 Special starting load will stick a bullet in a 4-6" 357 Magnum barrel...using 357 magnum brass and...

It is a personal thing.
It has been documented over the years that Civilian and Law Enforcement, and maybe even Military rounds hit the target about 20% when in deadly situations. So...I believe that Bill Jordan was correct.
Probably why the Military emphasizes higher mazine capacity, among...
I set my powder measure bushing, then weigh 5 charges, then check the weight every 20 or so charges. Then, before I seat the bullets, I look down each case with a flashlight for any visibly different load levels.
I am considering either the Girsan or the SA35, but, although I have reasonably average XL hands, hammer bite concerns me. Guns shouldn't hurt without extra $$$ spent. I have heard both ways about the Springfield and Girsan....solved, not solved? Can anyone fill in the facts?
Thanx!
In College, one month I had enough extra money, so I decided to buy a Randall. I discussed it with a roommate, and he said; "I'd never spend $60 on a knife!" Soooo. I didn't. Kicking myself ever since! Of course, back then, Smith & Wessson revolvers were sold for $87.95, and $60 was 2 months'...
