If Jer has any more "broken" guns grab them quick. The Model 10-7 I got from him that was tagged "will not cycle" was only missing some parts and gummed up with WD-40. Otherwise it was hardly used. With some spare parts and cleaning I now have an excellent shooter that only cost me about $110 total.

So when the USAF was formed from the USAAF did Army personnel have a choice as far as going into the new Air Force or staying in the Army or were they "drafted" according to MOS?

A local store had one a couple of years ago for $289. The machining, fit and finish was horrible. Unless it's one of the early ones with a walnut stock I'd pass it by.

I just got a 639 mag for my M39. It is marked 9 rounds and it does stick out about 1/8 inch. Got it from Midway who also have the orange followers for $3 ea.
